A pet door: your dog's own way out
A pet door is a framed flap set into a screen panel or a screen door, sized to your pet, so the dog or cat can come and go without you having to open anything and without clawing the screen to get out. A kickplate is a solid aluminum panel fastened along the bottom of your screen walls or doors, covering the zone that gets kicked, clawed, splashed, and pelted by the mower. Pair them and the entire lower band of your enclosure is handled: the pet door gives the dog a proper exit, and the kickplate protects the screen on either side of it.
