The Team

Todd is the face you meet at the estimate and the one supervising your install. Tammy runs the office and keeps you in the loop from quote to completion. Behind them is a crew that has been with us for years and knows screen work inside out, including Zach, Mike, Jason, Wilson, and Mike R. Our technicians live right here in the community, in Plant City, Brandon, Riverview, and Land O'Lakes, so when we say we are local, we mean it.

Outside of work, Todd and Tammy are a Brandon family through and through. They have three young grandchildren they love to take camping, to the beach, or for a pool day at home. As a company, we are proud to support the local Police and Fire Benevolence and school programs in our area.

Our Story

Todd was born and raised right here in Brandon and went to East Bay High School. He started in the trade as a teenager building swimming pools, then moved into screen work, and he took to it. He spent years traveling with a Brandon screen company into hurricane-hit areas across the state, handling sales, design, permitting, and the heavy screen and pool-cage rebuilds that follow a storm. He worked Hurricanes Andrew, Jeanne, Frances, and Charley, and he still repairs storm damage in our area today. Between those years, Todd also spent time as a merchant mariner, but screens were where he kept coming back, so he came home to Brandon and built Lanai Guy around what he knows best. Tammy grew up in Branson, Missouri, earned a degree in business and computers, and worked in the corporate world before settling in Brandon in 1998. She runs the office, and when you call, she is the voice on the other end: “Lanai Guy, Tammy speaking.” No call center, no answering service, no phone tree. That combination, Todd's decades of hands-on screen experience and Tammy's steady communication, is why customers keep calling us the King of Communication.
